by Swami Prakashandanda
Mastana yogi aya re, antara shakti jagane. Alabela yogi aya re, So’ham nada japane.
An ecstatic yogi has come, to awaken our inner divine energy.
A unique yogi has come, to awaken the inner sound of So’Ham.
Hari Om Sharan (a verse from a hymn written in Baba’s honor)

From the book's back cover:

Baba Muktananda was one of the most respected and revered spiritual masters of the 20th century. He not only spoke on spirituality but was an Ecstatic Yogi who had the rare ability to give a person a direct experience of the inner Self. This process is known as Shaktipat, whereby the divine power or energy — known as Shakti or Kundalini — is transmitted directly into a seeker by the Guru.

Muktananda had a fascinating life. He left home in search of God when he was just fifteen years old. As a young monk he traveled throughout India three times on foot searching for a spiritual guide. It was only after receiving the blessings of the great Siddha, Bhagavan Nityananda, that his search came to an end. In the last twelve years of his life he traveled on three World Tours initiating seekers through Shaktipat, and spreading the message that "God dwells within you as you."
